Bass. The Original Pale Ale.
Not bad. Amber color body. Fair amount of bubbles. Sweet aroma seeps through the lacing of head that encompasses the top. Very welcoming.
I like this Pale Ale. Nothing spectacular, but very drinkable. Simple. Refreshing. At first, it has its share of bitters and carbonation, but towards the end, mostly sweet malts and toffee & caramel goodness. Very nice body. Light. Smooth. And on the low end of a 5%, Bass is something you could drink all day. And since Superbowl Sunday is almost here, this is something I could see having in the fridge.
Sometimes it’s good to keep it simple. Jalapeno Ales and Bacon Stouts are great, but sometimes its good to enjoy the simple things in life.
